By default, Engage exports using the default decimal separator for the country in which your company is registered with Cint, for example “comma” for Argentina and a “full stop/period” for Malaysia.
To be able to perform calculations in Excel with decimal numbers, then the file must use the correct decimal separator.
If you changed the settings in Excel to use a different decimal separator than the default one, and the numbers are not recognized as numbers, then Engage offers the possibility to decide if the export should be done with a “comma” or a “full stop/period” decimal separator, from the user settings.
The decimal separator will be used for files such as the exported revenue details.
