We block panelists when we identify fraudulent activity or signs of poor survey behaviors. Blocking panelists is a preventative measure that allows us to send better quality traffic to our clients. and partners.
Your-Surveys Router Blocks
There are multiple types of blocks if you are making use of the Your-Surveys workflow,
- Temporary Blocks (User blocked for 60 minutes to 24 hours)
- Indefinitely Blocked (User blocked until an admin removes it)
- Permanent (User blocked permanently with no access to support)
Panelists who are blocked will automatically be sent to the Your-Surveys support page so they can contact our dedicated support team: https://ys.cint.com/tickets/index (User must be logged in to access this page).
Most new tickets are then replied to within 3-5 business days. How long it takes overall honestly depends on the issue they are contacting us about, how quick the respondent replies (if at all), the level of information they provide in their initial message, how cooperative they are & if we need to make any additional queries.
You can check the status of a user at any time by making an API call. For more information please see: https://yoursurveys.readme.io/docs/checking-quality-and-account-status-of-a-user
Cint Hosted Panels
Cint employs a dedicated support team that will regularly review accounts for any suspicious and fraudulent activity. An account will only be set to banned following a thorough review of the account by our quality team and therefore in 99% of cases, the ban will be permanent.
Common reasons for a ban include
- Fraudulent activity
- Consistent poor survey quality
- False or unrealistic profilers
- Entering gibberish or profanity on open-end questions.
Please send us a request if you would like to know if your panelist can potentially be unbanned. However, please respect the decision of our support and quality teams if we are not able to un-ban your panelist for any of the reasons above.
